Sales of Single Family Homes in Union New Jersey Increase From 2006

Sales of single family homes in Union have increased from the same time last year. According to the Garden State MLS, there were over 53 single family homes that closed in the month of September. This is a slight increase from the same time last year.

Average price, however, declined from $366,991 in 2006 to $362, 834 in September of 2007. In addition, the average days on the market increased to 88.9 from 58.5 in 2006.

So what does all this mean. Well, it means that we are doing pretty damn well compared to the rest of the country where some areas prices have dipped over 20%. It also means that more homes are selling -- but it's taking a lot longer.

What should you do, wait to see if the market takes a big hit or sell now and take advantage of the profits you have accumulated over the past several years? If I knew, I would be a very rich man. If you are planning on selling your home -- price it right. Get it sold. The longer it stays on the market, the more people wonder what's wrong with it.
